What are human rights and peace? Why should medical students be involved?

The main objective of SCORP is to educate medical students on human rights based approach methods and to mobilize them to raise awareness of themselves as well as society in terms of discrimination, access to health and socio-economic factors that affect health.

The ultimate goal is to promote equal access to health and the formation of future doctors who act with respect for human rights, free from all forms of discrimination.

Major areas of concern: vulnerable social groups, human rights violations, doctor-patient relationship, discrimination, access to health, social, political and economic factors affecting health.
