1. Accreditation procedure:
The doctor should apply for a residency place by completing a form and submitting it to the Ministry of Health of Cyprus. If their application is accepted, they will be summoned to take an exam, consisting of 30 questions mainly focused on Internal Medicine and Surgical clinical cases. In order to succeed in the exam, they should acquire a score higher than 50%. If they succeed in the exam, they attend an interview by a commitee of 4 doctors.

EU citizens can practice medicine by right. Other citizens should apply for a license.
